Counselling is talking therapy provided by a qualified Counsellor. Counselling gives you the confidential time, space and expertise to explore and clarify troubling issues in your life. The aim is that you, with the help of your counsellor, will learn more about your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and with these insights you will be able to make changes.
Is it for you?
We all face times in our lives when we feel we cannot cope with life traumas and it can affect our day to day living. Friends can offer a certain amount of support but at times we need to turn to professional help in the form of counselling to get through. Counselling can help with issues such as; Anxiety, Abuse, Bereavement, Depression, Illness, Relationship issues, Self confidence, Trauma, self-harm and other unexpected life events.
If you can relate to any of these and feel it is affecting your daily life, then counselling offers a safe place to deal with your concerns.
