GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation comes into affect on the 25th May 2018 and will replace the Data Protection Act 1988.    It sets out the main principles of data protection and the responsibilities  that organisations have when handling personal data.  It protects individuals' personal information and improves their control  over how it is collected, stored, shared and used.

NOTE KEEPING & RECORDS
After each session I keep very brief notes of our work together to help me remember   each session.    This is kept in a locked   filing cabinet   located in my office.    Notes are kept for up to seven years after which time they are securely destroyed.    You have the right to  see  the notes I keep  during our work together.  All notes are handwritten and no electronic notes are kept (exception if  your therapy is via a health insurance company).  Emails and Texts are used for answering equiries ,  scheduling  and rescheduling of appointments.
I am registered with the Information Commissioners  Office which is the UK's independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies  and data privacy for individuals
